It happens to us all. Use our password reset screen to start the process. This is also available on our mobile apps. You do not need to enter your old password to reset your password. If you do not receive an email right away, please be sure to check your SPAM folder or search for an email from firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
The email we send will contain a link to confirm your request to reset your password. If the link is not clickable, then please copy the entire line (starting with "https://" and including the characters after the "code=") into a new browser window.
When resetting your password, make sure that it is at least 8 characters long, has at least one digit, one uppercase character, and one lowercase character. You cannot use a common password. It is also very important to update any password manager with your new password.
To pick a password that is strong, you can use an auto-password generator built into your web browser or may be part of security software already installed. If you don’t have one and need to pick a strong password, try a combination of words you can remember like: your favorite color + favorite food + a date
If you are using social sign in, it is necessary to contact the social sign in provider who set up your account if you experience login or password problems when using social sign in. The login and password you use for social sign in differs from the login and password you use for MotorTrend+. However, you can set a password for your social sign in account on our website.
