A: Both MotorTrend and HOT ROD magazines will be transitioning to premium-quality, quarterly issues starting in the Spring of 2024. Along with this change, the annual subscription price will be adjusted to $30 per year for each title.
Q2: What exactly is changing for MotorTrend and HOT ROD magazines?
A: MotorTrend and HOT ROD will now be published quarterly instead of monthly, featuring more in-depth stories and high-quality photography. This shift allows us to create collector-quality publications with deeper content and superb photography that our readers can cherish. It also helps us to invest more in digital platforms and provide content in innovative formats.
Q3: Is the MotorTrend Group moving away from print towards digital content?
A: We are committed to delivering great content across all formats. While we are enhancing our digital offerings, we continue to value and produce our collector-quality print magazines.
Q4: What will happen to my current subscription with the changes in publication frequency and pricing?
A: Your subscription will automatically transition to the new quarterly schedule. Your current subscription rate won't change until its renewal. At that time the new annual rate of $30 will apply, or $50 if you bundle a subscription to both MotorTrend and HOT ROD.

A: You can activate your complimentary MotorTrend+ subscription by visiting the MotorTrend or HOT ROD magazine links below.
You'll need your account number and zip code, which you can get from your magazine label. If you get a "NULL" error message, then it is likely the account number has extra characters in front of it. For example, if using the below image, your account number looks like "#0123Y01234567890#" then it is the part after the letter. Please use 01234567890 (with or without the leading zero) for the account number.

Q7: Are there any exclusions to the free one-year MT+ subscription offer?
A: Yes, the offer is exclusive to residents of the United States and Canada and is only available to direct consumers of MotorTrend. It is not transferable and cannot be combined with other offers.
Q8: After I receive my code, how do I activate my free one-year MT+ subscription?
A: It may take up to 5 days for you to receive your unique code.
