Sometimes things don't work as expected, but the good news is that there are a few simple things you can do to take care of the issue on your own if you aren't able to view content on your Roku app.
First, make sure that your Roku operating system and app version are up to date. To do this, on your Roku go to Settings --> System --> System Update and then press the "Check now" button. Your Roku will update it's Roku software and any apps that have an available update.
We highly recommend you take advantage of Roku's added feature of checking your internet connection and download speeds. Go to Settings --> Network --> Check connection. If you are receiving assistance from our Help Center customer care agents, please provide them a picture of your test results.
Then make sure that the email address listed on the account screen is correct. This is in the Roku app on the left side menu arrow down to the Account option and press OK. The screen will show you the email used to sign in as well as your subscription. If either is not correct, press the "Sign out" button on the screen and then log back in.
In some cases you may need to log out, remove the app, reinstall the app, and then re-login.
Sometimes a restart is needed. There are three ways to do this. Option 1 is to use the system menu option under the Roku Settings --> System --> System Restart and the press the restart button. Option 2 is to use a combination of buttons on the Roku remote. Select "Home" from the main menu. From the remote control, press the following buttons consecutively: “Home” 5 times + “Up” + “Rewind” twice + “Fast Forward” twice. It may take a bit for the screen to update and then it will take about 15-30 seconds to clear cache and restart. Once it is back up, reinstall the app, and login again. Option 3 is to unplug the device for 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
To clear cache on Roku, first, you need to pair your Roku Remote with your device. Remove cache form Roku is done by using the Roku remote button. From the Roku Home screen, select the Home menu option.
Then press the following remote buttons consecutively.
- Press the Home buttons 5 times.

After that, you have to wait for 15 to 30 seconds, the Roku device will clear the cache and junk files from the device and instantly restart your Roku streaming device.
