We have rolled out an update to our Android mobile app's navigation This will help you find what you need and see how to transition to the new app.
In our updated app, our Home screen has been updated to be easier to navigate and to highlight content for you. Our latest featured episodes will be ready for you to play at the top of the screen. Below that you can scroll sideways through popular shows. Scrolling vertically will take you to New Episodes, Live Events, Continue Watching, and other curated content. Continue Watching let's you pick up your most recently viewed videos where you left off. Live Events will take you to any events that are live now or will be live soon. Past that you can scroll through the most recently posted videos. The bar across the bottom can be used for quick navigation to other parts of the app.
Once you have an episode playing, you can send it to a Chromecast device or cast to compatible smart TVs. Tap on the casting icon and then follow the onscreen prompts to connect to a Chromecast device or other compatible casting receiver.
Discover is the next screen and we have improved the screen to include search as well as quick filters to apply to the shows, including Live to get to live events quickly. Originals will narrow it down to MotorTrend original productions. The search function includes auto-complete to help speed your search. The search results will have a sideways scrolling list of shows, with episode results scrolling vertically below that.
My Stuff is where you can get to your saved shows and episodes. When you add a series or episode to be saved to your personal list on any of our apps, this is where it will be. When you first go there it will be empty but you can quickly discover and save shows for next time in the app.
The Alerts screen includes alerts and messages. You can start streaming by tapping on the message, or you can delete it through the three-dot menu on the right.
The Help section is where you can message the support team. This will open up a support request with the support team, and the app will have the replies to those messages here in the app. There is also a link to our Help Center where there are articles to help with the most common questions and issues.
